Judy Judy Reynolds, the holder of a Certificate in Gerontology/Health from American River College, has been creating low salt recipes since she and her husband were told in the year 2000 that they had high blood pressure. She has become an advocate for educating people, especially those middle aged and older, of the advantages of a low sodium lifestyle.

As part of her course work at American River College, she taught low salt cooking to seniors. She is a founder of the Low Sodium Support group in her home town of Davis, California. She has created these and many other tasty, easy, low salt recipes.

She hopes that this web site will serve to encourage others to take that first step toward healthier eating by becoming "Avid Label Readers" and adopting a cooking style that gradually limits salt in their daily diets.
